Preview // Milo and Elucid present: Nostrum Grocers // Headrow House, Leeds // 24.4.19
Milo and Elucid are two of undergrounds hip-hop most essential figures, and last year they teamed up as the act Nostrum Grocers. Their 2018 self-titled album was one of my favourites of the year alongside their other excellent efforts of Budding Ornithologists Are Weary of Tired Analogies by Milo and Shit don’t Rhyme No More by Elucid. Next week they are bringing the weird hypnotising double act to Headrow House in Leeds on Wednesday 24th as part of a UK tour. Having seen Milo last year in the same venue I can tell you this is one not to miss! The intimate venue allows for the artists to really connect with the audience and makes for an unforgettable experience.
If you haven’t heard of these two before I recommend listening to Nostrum Grocers which will be sure to be a large focus of the show. This is also a great gig to check out some new talent too as the international duo will be supported by local Leeds artist Weezy Jefferson. It’s not often we get smaller rappers of such calibre coming through Yorkshire and it’d be a shame for any rap fan to miss the opportunity to see Nostrum Grocers live
Tickets are available for £10.50 – Here
