My Sound of 2018. If you can’t tell, I really only listen to one genre.

The Band CAMINO // Daphne Blue

The soundtrack of my summer, a catchy indie-pop anthem from a band that doesn’t get the recognition they deserve.

Picture This // Everything or Nothing

One of Ireland’s hottest current exports, Picture This have made a name for themselves through their catchy choruses, and this song is no different. Their upcoming sophomore album is definitely one to be excited about.

Lewis Capaldi // Someone You Loved

The Scottish hunk has made a name for himself with heartfelt ballads. This latest track became his most listened to song, in record time no less.

Tom Grennan // Royal Highness

Grennan is becoming somewhat of a household name in the indie scene. ‘Royal Highness’ is a track that may get overlooked due to the popularity of ‘Found What I’ve Been Looking For’, but its just as impressive.

Sea Girls // All I Want to Hear You Say

This band, and this song in particular, are a must listen for any fan of indie-pop. Catchy guitar driven choruses are something these guys perfect every time

Dermot Kennedy // Power Over Me

Dermot Kennedy is a powerful singer-songwriter who sticks to acoustic roots, whilst being influenced by hip hop. This massive hit’s propelled his career to new heights.

The 1975 // I Like America and America Likes Me

Very little needs to be said about one of the world’s biggest bands, but this may be seen as the song of a generation; ‘kids don’t want rifles they want supreme.’ Possibly the album of the year.

The Academic // Fake ID

Having been a fan of The Academic for a long time, their debut album did not disappoint. Perfectionists of indie pop, this song should not be slept on

LANY // Taking Me Back

Inspired by heartbreak, LANY’s most recent album contains an array of songs dedicated to Paul Klein’s breakup with Dua Lipa.

Jet Black Alley Cat // She’s Alright

This vintage rock band out of Nashville deliver a proper indie tune.
