It could be argued that since The Hoosiers released their debut album they’ve been keeping quiet. The truth however couldn’t be further from this. Since releasing their debut, the odd pop / indie pop band have produced a further 3 full lengths and in this time have gathered a dedicated following. Now coming back to honour the album that gave them their initial breakthrough, September through to November sees the band celebrating the 10 year anniversary of The Trick To Life.
When first released in October 2007, the album provided the band with a top spot on the UK album chart before going on to be certified 2x platinum. Singles ‘Worried About Ray’ & ‘Goodbye Mr A’ both reached the UK top 5 and gave the band the opportunity to headline at legendary venues such as the Manchester Apollo and London’s Brixton Academy. Spanning across 27 cities, this 10 year anniversary tour will give attendees the chance to hear these hits in a much more intimate setting. For the more diehard fans too, this is the first time in years that the band will be unleashing album tracks such as ‘A Sadness Runs Through Him’, ‘Killer’ & ‘Clinging On For Life’ and is perhaps the last opportunity to hear them live for a long while.
If you’ve never attended a Hoosier’s show before, expect nothing but pure fun, merriment and a chance to celebrate one of the best indie pop albums of the noughties!
Catch The Hoosiers in a city near you this Autumn!
