Kwes – Bashful

Mixing rhythmic beats and smooth vocals, bashful is the first track to be released from Kwes’ forthcoming EP Meantime. After being signed to Warp late last year on the back on producing material for the likes of Speech Debelle and DELS, Kwes is stepping out of the shadows.

Chromatics – Lady

New track from the Portland based Chromatics, taken from their soon to be released album Kill For Love. Having been featured on the hugely influential Drive soundtrack, the band looks like they decided on an equally slick video, by Italian filmmaker Alberto Rossini.

Fanzine – L.A.

New single from the coming up north London band, as they progress towards their first album. Be sure to catch them at Live at Leeds in May. A real good listen.

Big K.R.I.T. – Red Eye

One of the standout tracks from Big K.R.I.T.’s new mixtape 4Eva N A Day. You can download the whole mixtape for free.

Burial + Four Tet – Nova

Having missed out on last week’s playlist by a literally a few hours, it was only right that it made it into this weeks. Check out our track review.

Pearson Sound – Untitled

This track has finally been released after first being played at the Boiler Room a year ago. Pearson Sound, along with the rest of the Hessle crew, are at the top of their game right now.

Beach House – Myth

(Presumably) taken from the just announced new album entitled Bloom.

Bondax – Just Us

Considering that the duo are barely old enough to even get into a club, this is a remarkable track that will undoubtedly be set on repeat mode for a while for its sheer fun.
